Game Theory Analysis in World of Warcraft

A game theory analysis for two game modes in the popular online game World of Warcraft.

This analysis was done for my final project in the 4th year game theory course (Econ 421) at UBC. For my project, I created game theory models for two competitive modes of World of Warcraft. Both of the modes analyzed were Player vs. Environment content, one was the Race for World First raid completion (20 player teams) and the other was head-to-head dungeon tournaments (5 player teams). Strategies for both situations were modelled and included decisions concerning optimal group composition, encounter strategy, and routing.
